Heritage Fest celebrates Indian culture at Hare Krishna Golden Temple
Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad, hosted its annual Heritage Fest at the Golden Temple in Banjara Hills, drawing nearly 12,000 students from 60 schools to celebrate India’s cultural, ethical and spiritual traditions through vibrant performances.

Hyderabad: Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad (HKM), organised its Annual Heritage & Cultural celebrations titled “Heritage Fest” at the Hare Krishna Golden Temple, Banjara Hills, with enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and educators.
The festival was organised by SUMEDHASA, the cultural wing of the Hare Krishna Movement. Heritage Fest is a flagship initiative of HKM that celebrates India’s timeless cultural, ethical, and spiritual traditions while providing a creative platform for young minds.
Recognised as one of the largest cultural initiatives of its kind, the festival witnessed the enthusiastic participation of nearly 12,000 students from over 60 schools across Hyderabad.
Hyderabad District Collector, Harichandana Dasari, and Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhuji, President, Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad and Regional President, Akshaya Patra Foundation (Telangana & AP), participated in the prize distribution.
The prize-winning students enthralled the audience with a series of vibrant cultural performances, including classical and folk dances, vocal music, Gita shloka chanting, Vedic quiz presentations, painting, storytelling, rangoli, and colorful Puranic costume displays.
