Heroic act by RPF Constable prevents mishap at Secunderabad Rly Station
An alert RPF constable, B Praveen Kumar, saved a passenger from falling between a moving train and the platform at Secunderabad station. The incident, which occurred on September 26, came to light now.

Hyderabad: A swift response from a Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable saved a passenger from a life-threatening mishap at the Secunderabad railway station.
In the incident which occurred on September 26, but came late to light later, B Praveen Kumar, an RPF constable, noticed a passenger attempting to board the moving Train No. 12796 (SC–BZA), but slipped while trying to board the coach and was on the verge of slipping between the train and the platform.
Reacting instantly, Praveen Kumar rushed forward and pulled the passenger to safety, averting what could have been a fatal accident.
Senior RPF officials commended the constable’s bravery and praised a reward for his prompt action.
