Hyderabad: The final voters’ list for the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-poll was released with 3.98 lakh voters by the GHMC Commissioner and District Election Officer, RV Karnan, on Tuesday.
A by-poll was necessitated following the sudden demise of BRS MLA Maganti Gopinath on June 8. The electorate includes 2,07,367 male voters, 1,91,590 female voters, and 25 classified in the ‘others’ category. Voting will be conducted across 407 polling stations housed in 139 buildings.
Karnan said voters can verify their names in the final rolls available on the ECI website, the CEO’s website, the ERO office, the Voter Helpline App, and at polling stations. Copies have also been sent to political parties and published at the ERO’s office, he said.
Citizens and political parties can submit their claims and objections (Form-6, 7, 8) until the last date of receipt of nominations. Eligible persons who have turned 18 as of 1 July 2025 or missed earlier enrolment may apply using Form-6.
Karnan said all political parties must appoint Booth Level Agents (BLAs) to ensure free, fair, and transparent elections.
