Hyderabad: India is a land of a unique culture with vibrant colours, rich traditions, beautiful landscapes, and a variety of languages. Language plays an important role in connecting people and thereby helps in making a strong nation. Hindi is that common connection from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, a language of love and togetherness. To foster this very feeling, Delhi Public School, Nadergul celebrated Hindi Diwas on September 14 with full zeal and vigour.
The day was celebrated both in the online and offline mode with a melange of activities thus providing a fine platform to the students to give wings to their imagination.
The subtle essence and beauty of Hindi poetry were showcased through Kavi Sammelan, a Special Assembly, and a pledge to propagate Hindi to enable it to reach greater heights.
An array of interesting activities was conducted to promote and appreciate the use of the Hindi language. Students delivered lectures, presented a one-act play, and recited poetry, to name a few. These activities are aimed at making them understand that the language we use influences the way we think.
The students’ enthusiasm was visible in their whole-hearted participation in various activities conducted. In today’s times, where people are forgetting their roots, Hindi Diwas plays a significant role, the school said.
