Hitesh Dolwani wins national para table tennis title in Chennai

Telangana’s Hitesh Dolwani won the men’s singles Class X title at the third National Para Ranking Table Tennis Championship in Chennai. He defeated Maharashtra’s Vishwa Tambe in the final after earlier wins over Nitin of Tamil Nadu and Dibrojit of Assam

Hyderabad: Telangana’s Hitesh Dolwani won the men’s singles title in the Class X category of the third National Para Ranking Table Tennis Championship in Chennai.

Dolwani defeated Vishwa Tambe of Maharashtra 11-5, 11-6, 6-11, 14-12 in the final.

Earlier, the Hyderabad paddler beat Nitin of Tamil Nadu 11-5, 11-6, 11-6 in the quarterfinal and Dibrojit of Assam 11-6, 11-8, 12-10 in the semifinal.
