Hockey India championship: CAG script 5-4 comeback win over SAI

PSPB defeated Central Secretariat 8-1 while CRPF hammered DASCB 10-0 in the Hockey India Senior Men Inter-Department National Championship 2026 in Hyderabad. ITBP, CAG and SSCB also registered wins, while SPSB and UBI played out a 1-1 draw

Hyderabad: The Comptroller & Auditor General of India (CAG) survived a scare as it came back from 1-4 down to script a 5-4 win over the Sports Authority of India (SAI) in the sixth Hockey India Senior Men Inter-Department National Championship 2026 at the Gachibowli Hockey Stadium here on Monday.

In another match, Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) scored an 8-1 win over Central Secretariat, while Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) hammered Defence Accounts Sports Control Board (DASCB) 10-0.
