Huzurabad: TS Planning Board Vice-Chairman B Vinod Kumar promised to constitute Huzurabad-Jammikunta Urban Development Authority (UDA) by merging twin towns soon. A proposal in this regard would be placed before Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao after completion Huzurabad by-election model code, he said while participating in an election campaign held in Jammikunta town as well as Sirsedu, Patharlapalli, Bogampad of Illandakunta mandal on Friday.
Promising to develop both Huzurabad-Jammikunta as beautiful towns, Vinod Kumar hoped that twin towns would experience massive growth in the coming days. A comprehensive plan has also been prepared for the purpose. Taking up developmental works with a comprehensive vision was the aim of the Telangana government, he said. Planning Board Vice-Chairman maintained that they were preparing plans to pass Warangal-Karimnagar national highway through Huzurabad-Jammikunta towns’ bypass roads.
Later, Vinod Kumar participated in the election campaign in Challur of Veenavanka mandal. He said that the BJP candidate for Huzurabad by-polls Eatala Rajender had no moral right to seek votes from the public since he resigned from the State Assembly without any valid reason and with his own agenda. BJP leader failed to come out with even a single valid reason for his resignation in the last five months. Why should Huzurabad people vote for Rajender? he questioned. BJP leader was only trying to project his own issue as the problem of the people of Huzurabad but was not revealing the facts behind his resignation.
Rajender never said that he had resigned due to the non-sanction of developmental works, pensions, Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bima, Vinod Kumar said and wanted Rajender to tell the reason behind his resignation. People would teach a befitting lesson to Rajender, who criticized TRS and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Vinod Kumar hoped.
