Hyderabad: Actress Karate Kalyani complains against YouTuber Anvesh over remarks on Indian passport

Telugu actress Karate Kalyani has lodged a complaint with the Punjagutta police against YouTuber Anvesh, alleging that his remarks on the Indian passport were offensive and hurt national sentiment. Police said the complaint is under examination.

Hyderabad: Telugu actress Karate Kalyani has lodged a complaint with the Punjagutta police against YouTuber Anvesh, accusing him of making offensive remarks about the Indian passport.

In her complaint submitted on Tuesday night, she had alleged that the comments were disrespectful to the country and hurt national sentiment.


Seeking strict action, the actress urged police authorities to take legal steps against the YouTuber and called for the cancellation of his Indian passport.

The Punjagutta police officials said they have received the complaint and are examining the allegations. Based on verification and facts, necessary action will be taken.
