Hyderabad: Army Public School, Bolarum received International Organisation for Standardization (ISO) accreditation in three categories, including quality management, environmental management and energy management on December 17, according to a press release.

Brigadier Sarabjit Singh, Commandant 1 EME Centre and Chairman, APS, Bolarum, along with the Principal Smitha Govind, received the certificates from ISO certified Team Lead Auditor, Siviah Alapati at a ceremony held in the school auditorium.

Meanwhile, the school has also been awarded with the British Council’s certification in International Dimension in Schools in appreciation of its work to bring the world into the classroom. The International Dimension in Schools certification recognises the achievements of schools that do exceptional work in international education, press release said.

Smitha Govind, said, “It was a challenge to conduct online activities but students, teachers and parents made the blended learning activities effective and fun. The world became a global village and our research was very innovative and effective.”

The school’s international work includes blended activities for the year including research and discussions on climate change and environment, food, sports, music, culture. The APS also organised interactive international exchange sessions with Indian Language School, Lagos and The Next Generation School, Al Daayen Campus, Qatar, release added.
