Hyderabad: Balloon gas cylinder explodes near GSM mall, four injured

Hyderabad: Four people suffered serious injuries after a small helium cylinder used for filling gas into balloons exploded near GSM Mall in Miyapur on Saturday night.
According to information available, the incident occurred when the cylinder
suddenly exploded reportedly while gas was being filled into balloons. The blast caused panic in the surroundings, with all those around rushing to safety.
Among those injured was reportedly a young man who was running an ice cream parlour on wheels nearby. Locals immediately responded and shifted the injured to a nearby private hospital, where doctors provided emergency treatment.
Preliminary reports suggest that a college student and an IT employee were among those injured in the incident.
On receiving information, Miyapur police reached the spot and inspected it. They are investigating to ascertain the exact cause of the explosion.
