Hyderabad: In a clean break from wintry conditions, which lasted for over three-months, the minimum and maximum temperatures in Telangana have started to climb.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad has indicated clear skies and a steady rise in temperatures across all parts of Telangana, a clear indication that the long and dry months of summer are upon us.

In its week-long weather forecast, the IMD-Hyderabad on Monday signalled transition into summer-like conditions with dry weather and no rain expected throughout the State. Maximum day time temperatures are expected to hover between 33 degree Celsius and 34 degree Celsius while the minimum temperatures will range from 18 degree C to 19 degree Celsius, IMD-Hyderabad said.

The forecast further observed that while mornings may still feature light mist or haze, the afternoons will remain largely dry and sunny.

The IMD-New Delhi’s forecast for Deccan plateau (Hyderabad region) has indicated that the minimum temperature is currently hovering near 18 degree C and 20 degree C, providing a brief window of cool air before the day warms-up.

Independent weather forecasters including T Balaji (Telanganaweatherman on X) has in his forecast has indicated that maximum temperatures will remain under 33 degree Celsius and there could be chances of unseasonal rains and thunderstorms in few parts of North, East and Central Telangana between FEbruary 25 and 28.
