Security guard assaulted by institute staff in Madhapur

A security guard at Geonix Technical Course Institute in Madhapur was attacked by employees following an argument. Raman sustained head injuries and was hospitalised. Police registered a case based on his wife’s complaint and detained four employees.

Hyderabad: A security guard was allegedly attacked by employees of an institute following an argument in Madhapur on Monday.

The incident reportedly took place at Geonix Technical Course Institute, where Raman (40) has been working as a security guard for some time.

According to the complaint, an argument broke out between Raman and some employees when they were entering the office premises. The dispute reportedly escalated, following which the employees allegedly attacked Raman with chairs from the premises.

Raman suffered serious injuries to his head in the assault. Suffering from bleeding injuries, he approached the Madhapur police along with his wife, Durga.

Based on a complaint lodged by Durga, the Madhapur police registered a case and shifted Raman to a local hospital for medical treatment. His condition is said to be stable.

Police have reportedly taken four employees into custody in connection with the incident. They are investigating the circumstances surrounding the assault.
