Hyderabad: Burglars struck at a house in Filmnagar

A woman named Swapna returned home in Filmnagar after visiting her in-laws and found her house burgled. Thieves stole 43 tolas of gold and Rs 1 lakh in cash. Police registered a case and are checking CCTV to find suspects

Hyderabad: Burglars struck at a house and decamped with 43 tolas of gold and cash of Rs 1 lakh in OU Colony in Filmnagar.

According to police, the house owner, Swapna, had gone to her in-laws’ house on September 27 following her husband’s recent demise and returned home on October 5. Upon returning, she found her house broken into and her valuables missing.

Based on her complaint, Filmnagar Police registered a case.

Forensic teams examined the scene and police are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify and nab the burglars.
