Hyderabad: City Police Training Centre gets new facilities
City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said the CPTC was the backbone of the force, delivering quality training to in-service police personnel, newly recruited police personnel
Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar on Monday inaugurated various facilities including an elevator, a Vidya Vedika and a reception centre at the City Police Training Centre (CTPC) here.
Speaking on the occasion, Anjani Kumar said due to quality training, outstanding teaching facilities, maintenance of health and good ambience, welfare activities have taken up for the staff and high standards of administration helped the training centre in getting the Union Home Minister’s Trophy for a best police training centre in 2019-2020.
He said the CPTC was the backbone of the force, delivering quality training to in-service police personnel, newly recruited police personnel and teaching effective policing activities for improving professional skills of police personnel in the city in order to maintain law and order. The CPTC has also taken up civil defense courses for volunteers from the city to create awareness and involve them in natural calamity situations.
