Hyderabad: Research & Development Centre (R&D Centre), CMR College of Engineering & Technology, Kandlakoya, has come up with ‘Smart Non-Contact Thermometer’. The thermometer developed with the support of IEE HAC, SIGHT and IEEE Hyderabad Section is capable of scanning time and photo as well.
In a press release on Saturday, College secretary Ch. Gopal Reddy said they have also developed automatic hand sanitizer using Internet of Things (IoT). It was developed with the sponsorship of DST Cawach.
The said kits were distributed to people of economically weaker section in Pudur and Ravalkole villages, besides to self-help groups and Primary health care centres.
IEEE Hyderabad Section 2020 chairman Dr Amit Kumar, IEEE Section current year chairman Sreenivas Jasti, IEEE SIGHT Group chair Dr. Suresh Merugu, IEEE Chair MD Dr. Vinit Gunjan, Principal Major Dr. V. A Narayana, College secretary C. Gopal Reddy, among other officials and students of CMR College of Engineering & Technology participated in the kits distribution event.
