Hyderabad continues to sizzle as monsoon advances towards Keralam
The southwest monsoon has advanced further into the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Andaman region, and is expected to reach Keralam around May 26. Meanwhile, Hyderabad and Telangana continue to experience intense heat, with isolated rain forecast in some districts.

Hyderabad: The southwest monsoon has advanced into some parts of southeast Arabian Sea, southwest and southeast Bay of Bengal, many parts of Andaman Sea, entire Nicobar Islands, and some parts of Andaman Islands, and is likely to set in over Keralam around May 26.
According to the India Meteorological Department, the conditions were favourable for further advance of southwest monsoon into some more parts of southeast Arabian Sea, southwest and southeast Bay of Bengal, remaining parts of Andaman Islands and Andaman Sea, and some parts of east central Bay of Bengal during the next three to four days.
Meanwhile, the weather conditions in Hyderabad and neighbourhood, while being partly cloudy, continue to be intensely hot. The day temperatures for Sunday and Monday are likely to be around 41 degree Celsius and the night temperatures continuing be on the higher side at around 29 degree Celsius.
For the districts, the IMD-Hyderabad forecast suggests the possibility of light to moderate rain or thundershowers at isolated places over Telangana during the next three days. The dry weather is likely to prevail over the State with the possibility of day temperatures gradually rising by 2 degree Celsius to 3 degree Celsius during next three days.
