Hyderabad cops save woman in nick of time from taking her own life
The two policemen responded promptly after receiving a call on the Dial 100 facility from a relative of the woman, reporting that she was attempting to harm herself.

Two police constables, attached to the Balapur police station under the Rachakonda Police limits proved this on Thursday by saving a woman who almost hanged herself.
The timely response of the two policemen came after a call came aon the Dial 100 facility of the police, from a relative of the woman saying she was attempting suicide.
With the Control Room passing on the alert to the Balapur mobile patrol vehicle, Constables Raju Reddy and S Tharun did not think twice but dashed to the location.
There, family members told them that the 30-year-old woman, who was reportedly upset , had locked herself in the house and was attempting suicide.
The two policemen, who began talking to her through the window, trying to pacify her, at the same time barged into the room by breaking open the lock and rescued her even as she was trying to hang herself with a dupatta from the ceiling fan.
The entire episode was over in a few minutes, with the policemen leaving the spot after ensuring the woman was in safe hands and that she had calmed down. On learning about the incident, colony residents and senior police officials from Rachakonda Police Commissionerate applauded the policemen for their timely response that saved the woman’s life.
Rachakonda Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu appreciated the duo.
