Hyderabad: Two unidentified burkha-clad women who robbed an elderly couple by barging into their house on Thursday could be their distant relatives, police suspect.
Police teams, who are verifying footage from surveillance cameras in the surroundings to identify the suspects, said both suspects, one in her forties and the other in her thirties, after committing the offence, left the place quietly by walking towards the main road. Their voices too were identified by the couple as being familiar.
“Based on the clues in hand, we are trying to identify them. We are gathering technical evidence from the crime spot too,” an official said.
