Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner CV Anand on Wednesday chaired an inter-departmental coordination meeting on the Hanuman Jayanthi procession to be held on Saturday.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from GHMC, R&B, Electricity, Fire department, EMRI and police officials from Cyberabad and Rachakonda Commissionerates.
The commissioner stressed on strong barricading, uninterrupted power supply, debris clearing and pruning tree branches.
The TSRTC was tasked to depute mechanics and drivers while EMRI officials were to station ambulances along the main procession route.
The City Police have made elaborate security arrangements for the procession that draws hundreds of devotees.
