Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand, on Wednesday morning paid a surprise visit to the Punjagutta police station and inspected the functioning of the police station.
The Commissioner went around the police station and inspected the reception desk, the surveillance cameras control room and records maintained at there.
Later interacting with the media persons, Anand said the police station was adjudged the second best police station in the country in 2017 by the union Government.
“Despite the police station being overloaded due to VVIPs and regular bandobast and also high number of cases registered, the UI cases pendency here is low with investigation into only 175 cases to be finalized and NBW’s pending are less,” he said.
He expressed happiness over the maintenance of the facilities for the visitors at the police station.
