Hyderabad Commissioner CV Anand Has transferred 50 Inspectors and gave them new postings on Tuesday

Vikram Singh Mann, Additional CP, L&O, Hyderabad and Chairman of the Central Peace and Welfare Committee; P Viswa Prasad, Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Hyderabad; other officials and 350 members of the peace committee participated in the meeting.

The CP also inaugurated the Police Subsidiary Canteen and issued membership cards

During the meeting, Anand emphasized factors that need to be considered while preparing bandobast plans including actionable intelligence gathering and surveillance on unsocial elements

“Five persons were arrested by the Hyderabad and if any more names come up during the investigation, we will probe and initiate legal action,” said the Hyderabad CP.

The Commissioner criticized claims and unconfirmed reports that were making rounds in multiple media outlets about issuing red corner notice to Prabhakar Rao.

The Commissioner further said that aspersions made by the said person amounting to communal, political and other overtones in the investigation are completely baseless and false and they are condemnable.

“The case has national security ramifications and pan-India probe is required. The NIA is already working with us and soon the case would be taken up by the agency fully,” said Hyderabad Commissioner of Police, CV Anand.
