Hyderabad declares three-day holiday for Jubilee Hills bypoll

The Hyderabad district administration has announced three paid holidays for offices and institutions serving as polling stations and counting centres for the Jubilee Hills Assembly bypoll. The holidays cover November 10, 11, and 14, ensuring smooth conduct of polling and counting

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad district administration on Friday declared a three-day paid holiday for offices and institutions where polling stations and counting centres have been set up for the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency bypoll scheduled for November 11.

As per an order issued by Hyderabad Collector Harichandana Dasari, a holiday has been declared on the day of polling on November 11. In addition, a day before polling i.e., November 10 and counting day i.e. November 14 have also been declared a holiday for offices and institutions where polling stations and counting centres have been established.

All the Head of the Officers of respective departments and offices/Institutions in which polling stations and counting centres are established are to implement the orders scrupulously, the Collector said.
