Hyderabad: Decomposed body of a woman found stuffed in a trolley
The decomposed body of an unidentified woman, believed to be aged between 25 and 35, was found stuffed in a trolley bag in Bachupally. Police suspect she was murdered elsewhere and are reviewing CCTV footage to trace the killer.
Hyderabad: The body of an unidentified young woman was found stuffed in a trolley bag and abandoned at a secluded place at Vijaya Durga Owner’s Association Colony, Bachupally on Wednesday.
She is suspected to have been killed elsewhere and the police disposed of here, police said.
The victim, who was to be identified, was suspected to be aged between 25 and 35 years, and the body was in a highly decomposed state.
Local residents, who grew suspicious about a trolley bag amidst bushes beside a wall, alerted the Bachupally police.
“We reached the spot, opened the trolley bag, and found a woman’s body stuffed inside. She suspect she was killed a few days ago elsewhere,” said J Upender Rao, Inspector Bachupally.
The CLUES team and Dog Squad visited the spot and examined it. The footage from the surveillance cameras in the surrounding areas is being examined to identify the victim and the suspects. Police officials added that the place where she was murdered is yet to be traced. The body was shifted to the Gandhi Hospital morgue for autopsy and preservation.
