Hyderabad: A decomposed body of an unidentified woman was found in bushes near Sreenidhi University at Yamnampet under the Pocharam IT Corridor police station limits on Friday.
University staff noticed the body in the bushes and alerted the police. Police teams reached the spot and conducted an inspection, while a clues team collected evidence.
Police suspect the woman, believed to be aged between 20 and 35 years, may have died around a week ago, based on the condition of the body. There were reportedly marks around her neck suggesting possible strangulation or hanging, though the exact cause of death is yet to be established.
