Hyderabad: Engineering student found hanging in hostel
Officials said no suicide note was found at the spot and that her family members too have said she had no problems.
Hyderabad: An engineering student died, allegedly by suicide, and was found hanging in her hostel room at Maisammaguda under Petbasheerabad police limits late on Friday night.
The victim, K.Madhavi (20), pursuing engineering from a private college, was a native of Jangaon district. She was staying in a hostel at Maisammaguda here.
Police said Madhavi, who was visibly depressed for the last few days, ended her life by hanging from the ceiling fan in her room on the third floor of the hostel building. Her friends from nearby rooms found her dead and informed the hostel management and the police.
Officials said no suicide note was found at the spot and that her family members too have said she had no problems.
The body was shifted to the Gandhi Hospital morgue for autopsy.
