Hyderabad: Property worth a few lakh rupees was gutted down when fire broke out at a company engaged in making fans at Balanagar on Wednesday afternoon. No casualties were reported in the incident.

According to the fire officials, the incident happened at a company located in Chenna Reddy Nagar in Balanagar industrial area around afternoon. On noticing the flames, workers who were present in the premises rushed out and alerted the fire department.

On information fire tenders from Kukatpally and other nearby fire station rushed to the spot and doused the flames. The officials suspect that the fire might have been caused due to short circuit. Investigation is going on.
