Hyderabad: Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, General Officer Commanding, Sudarshan Chakra Corps visited Secunderabad Military Station and reviewed Operational Readiness of the Bison Division, on Saturday.
The General Officer was briefed by Major General Prit Pal Singh, General Officer Commanding, Bison Division on operational preparedness to include Tri-Services synergy mechanisms for integrated approach and execution of operations as also the adoption of latest technologies to formulate tactics, techniques and procedures for multi domain operations.
Participation of units of Bison Division in exercises with Friendly Foreign Countries was also covered. The Corps Commander was also briefed on administrative aspects to include projects undertaken for force preservation, welfare of troops and station development.
Contributions made by Bison Division in constructive social campaigns for betterment of society and national integration including activities undertaken as part of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav and outreach measures to veterans and Veer Naris were also presented.
The General Officer witnessed an All Arms Integrated Exercise “Bison Tech Tac” at Lake Line Range wherein units of Infantry, Armoured, Artillery, Engineers and Signals executed synchronised Battle Drills in tactically set operations in Desert Terrain, as part of Strike Corps. Integration of Kamikaze Drones and Counter Devices was also witnessed during the conducted exercise.
