Hyderabad: Group I candidates arrested by police before heading to Gandhi Bhavan

They wanted to meet PCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud and brief him about their issues. They wanted the PCC president to take up the issue with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

Hyderabad: Continuing their demand to postpone the Group I examination, the candidates called for Chalo Gandhi Bhavan programme. However, many aspirants were arrested by the police before reaching the State Congress headquarters.

They wanted to meet PCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud and brief him about their issues. They wanted the PCC president to take up the issue with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

The PCC president instructed the police officials to release the Group I candidates and gave an appointment to them for a meeting at Gandhi Bhavan in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari is conducting a video conference with TGPSC Chairman Mahender Reddy, TGPSC Secretary Navin Mittal and district Collectors of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Medchal.
