Hyderabad: The city police on Sunday arrested a home guard working with the Central Crime Station (CCS) for raping a minor girl at his house here.
The 40-year-old home guard called the girl to his house and committed the heinous crime. The incident came to light when the girl developed health problems. When her family members enquired about the reasons, she did not respond initially.
The family members then grilled the girl who then disclosed the crime committed by the home guard. Based on a complaint, the police booked a case against the home guard and arrested him.
In a separate case, the Jubilee Hills police registered a case against a degree student for allegedly violating a girl at his house. The student called her to his house on the pretext of settling the issue that was brewing between them for the last few days and allegedly violated her.
