The Telangana High Court heard a plea by Bigg Boss fame Ashu Reddy to quash criminal proceedings against her in a case alleging misappropriation of Rs 9.35 crore under the false promise of marriage.

A Nepali gang allegedly robbed the house of retired army officer Captain Giri at Gun Rock Enclave, Karkhana, Secunderabad, escaping with gold ornaments and cash worth Rs. 50 lakh. Police suspect the gang was tipped off by a domestic worker, Pujaraj, employed 20 days earlier.
