Hyderabad: Housewife ends life over harassment by husband

The relatives of the woman told the police that since last 11 years, Umesh was harassing his wife

Hyderabad: A housewife died by suicide allegedly due to harassment of her husband at Mangalhat on Saturday night.

According to the police, the woman, Ranjeetha Bai (38), a resident of Jali Hanuman, Mangalhat was married to Umesh Singh 17 years ago, and the couple lived with their family.

The relatives of the woman told the police that since last 11 years, Umesh was harassing his wife. The torture allegedly increase in recent months and Ranjeetha slipped into depression and ended her life. The police registered a case and are investigating.
