According to police, college floor in-charge Satish, who was present at the scene, noticed the altercation and allegedly beat up Sai Puneeth severely, landing multiple punches on his face. The assault was so brutal that the victim’s jawbone was fractured.

Following a complaint lodged by the injured student, Malakpet police registered a case against Satish and initiated an investigation.

The incident sparked outrage among parents, who strongly condemned the violent behavior of corporate educational institutions and accused management of fostering a culture of intimidation and hooliganism. They staged a protest on the college premises on Thursday.

Meanwhile, police have assured strict action against the accused and said a further inquiry is underway.
