Hyderabad: The Rachakonda police on Tuesday arrested a lawyer on charges of threatening his wife and children with a firearm.

Police said Ajay Kumar, a former public prosecutor at a city court, had disputes with his wife and allegedly brandished the weapon and threatened to kill them.

Following a complaint, a case was booked and investigated by Vanasthalipuram ACP Purushottam Reddy.

Ajay Kumar was arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
