Hyderabad man feared drowned in Puri sea
Vikas Chand, a Hyderabad resident, was reportedly swept into the sea at Puri while bathing on Saturday. Despite immediate rescue efforts by lifeguards, the man remains missing. He had come along with his wife, son, and a group of friends.
HYDERABAD: A Hyderabad man is feared to have drowned into the Puri sea after strong waves pulled him into the sea on Saturday.
The man Vikas Chand, had come along with his wife and son to the place. The family stays at Langer Houz in the city.
According to reports, the man was taking a bath when the strong waves pulled him into the sea even as his wife and others were watching. On information the local lifeguards swung into action and began efforts to reach and rescue him. However the man was not traced.
The family had gone to Puri along with a group of persons. More details awaited.
