Hyderabad: Man gets 20 years RI for sexual assault on minor girl

Hyderabad: The First Additional Metropolitan Session Judge, Hyderabad on Wednesday, sentenced a man who sexually assaulted a minor girl, to 20 years of imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on him.
Mateen Ali Khan (47), a driver from Chatrinaka sexually assaulted the minor girl in January 2019, following which he was arrested. The case was investigated by Mohd Abdul Rasheed, the then ACP Falaknuma who later filed the charge sheet in the court. The trial was completed on Wednesday and the court found Khan guilty for the offences under Sections 376 (3), 377 of Indian Penal Code and Section 5 r/w6 of The Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act.
