Hyderabad: A delivery executive, working for an e-commerce service died after his bike lost control and crashed into the road median near the Miyapur metro station on Sunday night.
The victim was identified as R.Durga Prasad (37) from Prajay City in Miyapur and a native of Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 11 pm, when Durga Prasad was proceeding from Kukatpally towards Miyapur on his motorcycle. On approaching metro station pillar no.631, Durga Prasad who was driving quite speed, lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into the road median near the Miyapur metro station
“He lost control of the bike and fell on the road. He suffered grievous bleeding injuries on the head and died on the spot,” said an official.
Passersby who noticed the accident stopped and rushed to his rescue, but in vain as he had died by then.
Based on a complaint from Durga Prasad’s father Naga Kumar, the Miyapur police booked a case and took up investigation.
