Hyderabad: A person allegedly cheated several persons posing as a secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office was arrested by the police on Monday.
According to the police, Burra Kamal Krishna Goud (40) of Shahpur in Medchal, who was reportedly working as a reporter for a YouTube news channel, had contacted several persons over phone and introduced himself as Srikanth Rao, a secretary in the CMO.
“He would inform the person that they had been nominated for the post of chairman or vice chairman in a government corporation and collect money from them,” P Radha Kishan Rao, DCP (Task Force) said.
