Hyderabad Mayor Vijayalakshmi takes Covid-19 vaccine

Those above 60 years and those with co-morbidities in the age group of 45 years to 59 years should get vaccinated without any doubts or hesitations, Mayor said.

Hyderabad: Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi took the Covid-19 vaccine at NIMS, Punjagutta on Tuesday morning and said the vaccine was safe and should be taken without any hesitations.

Telangana government has made elaborate arrangements for the vaccination and has set up vaccination facilities at 1,005 government healthcare centres 231 private centres, she said.

Those above 60 years and those with co-morbidities in the age group of 45 years to 59 years should get vaccinated without any doubts or hesitations, Mayor said.

She also urged citizens to continue with the face masks and other safety measure to aid the government’s fight against Covid-19.
