The GHMC has 21 solid waste management plants in the city, she said while calling for setting up 10 more of these plants.

Hyderabad Mayor said the city had been registering fast-track progress compared to other metros on the infrastructure and development fronts

Those above 60 years and those with co-morbidities in the age group of 45 years to 59 years should get vaccinated without any doubts or hesitations, Mayor said.

A day before taking charge, Vijayalakshmi also visited Bhagyalaksmi temple at Charminar and offered prayers.
