Hyderabad: Home Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali and Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Sunday carried out an aerial review of Ganesh idols immersion procession in the city.
The Ministers accompanied by Director General of Police M Mahendar Reddy and Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar flew in a helicopter and inspected the progress of the idol immersion procession in which devotees participated in large numbers.
Srinivas Yadav said the Ganesh idols immersion procession in Hyderabad has a unique identity and as per the instructions of the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, elaborate arrangements were made to ensure smooth conduct of festivities and to avoid any inconvenience for the devotees.
