Hyderabad: NGO felicitates doctors, health care workers

As a mark of respect and gratitude to the contributions of the doctors, the members of Team Eagles along with Meraki Bakes honoured the senior doctors of Deccan hospital

Hyderabad: Team Eagles, a student voluntary organisation has felicitated senior doctors and other health care workers at Deccan Hospitals, Somajiguda on the occasion of Doctor’s Day. As a mark of respect and gratitude to the contributions of the doctors, the members of Team Eagles along with Meraki Bakes honoured the senior doctors of the hospital.

“We would like to honour your service and commitment to society with a small token of appreciation. You risk your lives every day, by staying away from your own families and loved ones, in order to serve your patients and save their lives. We thank you for bravery, sacrifices, and your unflagging compassion,” the members of Team Eagles said.

The students also condemned violence against doctors and other health care workers that often take place at Government and private hospitals. Doctors and medical staff have been at the forefront since the very beginning of the pandemic, and have been battling it out, facing far greater consequences than we realise, they said.
