Hyderabad: Nityananda Trayodashi was celebrated on a grand note at Hare Krishna Golden Temple, Banjara Hills on Thursday. In view of the current pandemic, devotees were allowed for the celebrations in strict adherence to Covid regulations. As part of the festival, Maha Abhishekam of 108 Kalasas was performed with varieties of fruit juices, flowers, Panchamritam, Panchagavyam, Sugandha Dravyas etc., followed by a Mangala Arathi along with bhajans and kirtans. Melodious Hari nama sankirthan was performed by devotees on this occasion, a press release said.
“Nityananda Trayodashi is the appearance day of Nityananda Prabhu who was the eternal companion of Chaitanya Maha Prabhu. Both spread the importance of Hari Nama Sankeertana and Japa during this Kaliyuga as a way of life to everybody without discrimination of caste, religion etc.
Nityananda Prabhu is the first spiritual master to understand Chaitanya Maha Prabhu and finally getting Krishna’s blessings,” said the president of Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad, Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa.
