Hyderabad: Valedictory function of 101st Advance Navigation Course (ANC) and 133th Ab-Initio Navigation Course was held at Navigation Training School (NTS), Air Force Station Begumpet. Air Commodore BS Kanwar, DDG NCC Karnataka and Goa Directorate was the Reviewing Officer for the function, which was conducted following appropriate Covid-19 protocols.
The graduating 101th Advance Navigation Course comprised seven officers including two from Indian Navy and one from Indian Coast Guard, who would be taking up instructional assignments in their respective services. The 133th Ab-Initio Navigation Course comprised 20 Flight Cadets of the IAF. Meritorious trainees of both the courses were awarded with trophies, medals and certificates.
The Flight Cadets, who have completed their Ab-Initio training at NTS, would be commissioned as IAF officers during the Combined Graduation Parade to be held at Air Force Academy, Dundigal on December 18, according to a press release.
Group Captain Manish Kumar, Commanding Officer of Navigation Training School (NTS), Wing Commander Rahul Chand, Chief Navigation Instructor, Group Captain Sunil Tomar, Station Commander, Air Force Station Begumpet and others were present at the event.
