Hyderabad: Oxygen concentrators donated to Railway Health Unit
The donation was done under Project Breathwell, in the presence of Abhay Kumar Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division
Hyderabad: Rotary Club of Hyderabad East, Asha Jyothi and Doctors for You, donated seven oxygen concentrates to Railway Health Unit, Chilakalaguda, on Saturday.
The donation was done under Project Breathwell, in the presence of Abhay Kumar Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division. NV Hanmanth Reddy, District Governor, M Surendranath, project co-ordinator, YV Giri, 3150 Rotary Club, Ganesh Rao, member of Asha Jyothi and other Rotary Club members were present at the occasion.
These oxygen concentrators have capacity of five litres each and can deliver oxygen with 90 (+/-) 3 per cent concentration. The health unit is serving majority of the Railway employees and their dependents in the city.
Speaking on this occasion, Abhay Kumar appreciated the efforts and said that these machines will help in strengthening the facilities at the hospital.
Gajanan Mallya, general manager, SCR also appreciated Social Welfare organisations Rotary Club, Doctors for You and Asha Jyothi for their valuable and timely assistance during the peak times of Covid-19 pandemic.
