Hyderabad Police meets organisers of Sri Veera Hanuman Vijaya Yatra to be taken out on April 12

Hyderabad Police Commissioner, CV Anand, urged the organisers to be vigilant about any new individuals joining the procession and to promptly inform the local police as a precautionary measure

Hyderabad: A coordination meeting was organised on Wednesday by the Hyderabad City Police with officials of different government departments and organisers of Sri Veera Hanuman Vijaya Yatra to be taken out on Saturday.

Officials of Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda, GHMC, R&B, TGSRTC, Fire Department, HMWS&SB, and representatives of Bajrang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and other organistions participated in the meeting.

Hyderabad Police Commissioner, CV Anand, urged the organisers to be vigilant about any new individuals joining the procession and to promptly inform the local police as a precautionary measure. He requested their cooperation with the traffic police to avoid any traffic congestions during the procession.

Anand appealed to the organisers to refrain from using DJ systems during the procession and also clarified that the use of drone cameras was prohibited without prior authorisation from the police department.

The Hyderabad Police will deploy 17,000 police personnel along with additional armed forces for the Sri Veera Hanuman Vijaya Yatra. A joint control room will be established at the Hyderabad City Police Commissioner’s Office, ICCC Building, Banjara Hills.
