Hyderabad: Private Cessna noselands in Begumpet airport forcing Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to delay his departure to Delhi

The minor accident involving a Cessna forced the Chief Minister to delay his departure to Delhi. None was injured in the incident.

Hyderabad: A private Cessna aircraft was involved in a minor incident while landing at the Begumpet airport here on Wednesday forcing the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to delay his departure to New Delhi on Thursday.

Sources said Revanth Reddy was to fly to Delhi in an aircraft that was to take off from Begumpet, but hours before his scheduled departutre, a private Cessna was involved in an incident leading to some damage to the runway. None was injured in the incident.

But as a precautionary measure, authorities closed the runway for sometime. Authorities said the Cessna’s propeller blades hit the runway damaging a portion of it. Immediate repairs were taken up and by evening, the Chief Minister flew to Delhi.
