Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police intensified the search for realtor S Sreedhar Rao, who went absconding last Friday after he was booked on charges of sodomising his fitness trainer.
Rao, the managing director of Sandhya Convention, had got bail on Friday from the High Court in a cheating case for which the Raidurgam police arrested him. However, following a complaint from his 34-year-old fitness trainer, the Sanathnagar police had booked a threatening and sodomy case the same day, after which he went absconding, police said.
Police teams have been searching for him for the last five days and on Friday, pasted a notice on the door of his residence asking him to appear before the police for investigation in the case, which has charges of unnatural sex, threatening and voluntarily causing hurt among others.
According to the complainant, who was working as a personal gym trainer and bodyguard cum driver for the realtor, he was sexually assaulted at Rao’s residence in Jubilee Hills in October.
