Hyderabad: Revenue inspector caught red-handed taking Rs 25,000 bribe for issuing family certificate
The revenue inspector, Bhoopala Mahesh, had demanded a bribe of Rs 1 lakh and later settled for Rs. 25,000 for showing official favour “for issuing family members certificate to the complainant.”
Hyderabad: The Anti Corruption Bureau sleuths on Wednesday caught a revenue inspector working at the Tahsildar Musheerabad mandal office when he demanded a bribe of Rs. 1 lakh and accepted Rs. 25,000.
The revenue inspector, Bhoopala Mahesh, had demanded a bribe of Rs 1 lakh and later settled for Rs. 25,000 for showing official favour “for issuing family members certificate to the complainant.”
The revenue inspector was trapped red handed when he accepted the bribe amount. The revenue inspector was arrested and is being produced before the ACB court at Nampally.
