The revenue inspector, Bhoopala Mahesh, had demanded a bribe of Rs 1 lakh and later settled for Rs. 25,000 for showing official favour “for issuing family members certificate to the complainant.”

The tainted RI, identified as Anvesh, allegedly committed these fraudulent activities during his tenure as a Camp Clerk/Personal Assistant to the then GWMC Commissioner Pamela Satpathy.
The two had demanded the bribe for correcting an error in the records of the farmer's land on Dharani portal. They would be produced before a special court for ACB cases in Karimnagar on Monday.
