Hyderabad RPO honoured for Citizen-Centric Reforms at Regional Passport Officers’ Conference

Hyderabad: At the ongoing Regional Passport Officers’ Conference 2025 in New Delhi, the Regional Passport Office, Hyderabad, on Tuesday was honoured with an award under the category ‘Innovative Steps and Citizen-Centric Initiatives Undertaken during 2024—25.’
The award is in recognition of forward-looking reforms and commitment to public service, was presented on the occasion of the 13th Passport Seva Diwas, by Pabitra Margherita, Union Minister of State for External Affairs, to Jonnalagadda Snehaja, Regional Passport Officer, Hyderabad.

Key initiatives by RPO Hyderabad in 2024—25 include walk-in public grievance redressal on Thursdays, a large-scale Swachhata campaign that revitalised the office premises,the release of a special commemorative passport envelope marking 75 years of the Constitution, and the inauguration of a year-long Art and Calligraphy Exhibition on the Constitution of India.
